3 Big New Things (Weekly Release)

This week's release is a big one. Big, big because we are releasing three significant upgrades to help your teams get work done faster using CubeTree.

#1 New Version of the CubeTree Desktop Client

The first version of CubeTree's Desktop Client, CubeDeck, gave you a real-time notification of new feed items in your feed via a pop-up window on your desktop.
This week we are releasing a major upgrade to the desktop client with new features to let you
  • View all your feed items
  • Get alerted to new feed items
  • Counts of unread feed items
  • Mark feed items
  • Update your status
  • Upload a document
  • Comment on any feed item
  • ... and get notified of your feed items via a pop-up.
CubeDeck is built using Adobe Air and runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux Platforms. It takes one click to install and is available on our client page, https://www.cubetree.com/site/clients

#2 Epic New Wiki Features
We continue to upgrade the wiki functionality based on your user requests (and some stuff we think is pretty exciting). This week, we've gone big with the new features:

Wiki page view analytics

Ever wonder who is viewing your content? Are people following important revisions? CubeTree provides visual tracking of page views and revisions for every wiki page, complete with links to view the change.

Go to a wiki page and click "Page Views" in the left-hand menu to see the report.
Embed rich media content in your wiki pages

CubeTree wikis support partner widgets, so you can embed a Google Calender, a Scribd document or a SlideShare presentation to add rich media content to your shared wiki pages. The list of supported widgets is long and growing.

Edit a wiki page and click the "widget" button in the edit menu to see the embed menu.

Easily tag wiki pages

We've added a new section to make it easy for you to add tags to your wiki pages.

When viewing a wiki page, click "Tags" on the left-hand menu to add a tag identifying the type of content in the page.
#3 Blackberry Client Released to GA

The CubeTree BlackBerry client has been in beta for the last few weeks. This week we're taking off the beta label and releasing this version fully!

You can download the BlackBerry client from the client page, https://www.cubetree.com/site/clients

Lastly, all the work in this release is in direct response to the requests made by you in the feedback forum, http://cubetree.uservoice.com/. This week's features address a total of 54 votes and 11 seperate feature requests! Keep the feedback coming and we'll keep adding features.
