Group Chat Enhancements

Participant List in a Chat Room - We heard from users that the notifications that were created when users join and leave the chat rooms was distracting. We removed those items and the Participants list can now be used to determine who is in the room with you. When a user joins the chat, the user name and their 'Shirt' will appear in the list. When a user exits the room, their name and shirt will disappear from the list indicating they have left the room.

"Close this Chat" button removed - We heard from many of you that the "Close this Chat" button on the right navigation of the chat window was causing some confusion when users were trying to exit the room and inadvertently ended the chat for all participants. We've removed the button. To exit a chat room, simply close the browser window. The chat room will remain open for the other participants.

Search Chats Archives - You can find an archived transcript of a past chat by going to the Company > Group Chats page. To help locate a specific chat transcript, the list can be sorted alphabetically by name or chronologically by creation date by clicking on the appropriate column title.
