We've added many new features enhancing the CubeTree group experience, integration with SharePoint, and multilingual support!
New! Connect SharePoint with CubeTree
Many companies have already made a significant investment in SharePoint and rely on it for document management and version control. Customers want to use CubeTree to share and collaborate on documents housed in SharePoint without creating redundancy or losing version integrity.

To help customers get more out of their investments in SharePoint and CubeTree, we've created the SuccessFactors Connector for SharePoint. This Connector allows you to publish documents from SharePoint to CubeTree, where documents are easily discovered and so are the authors. SharePoint documents published to CubeTree are accessible on mobile devices from the mobile web or one of our mobile apps. You can publish to your profile, a public group, or a private group. The Follows Feed with related comments can also be displayed within SharePoint.
You can use the SharePoint Connector to publish documents to CubeTree in 2 ways:
- Copy the contents of the document to the CubeTree. Feed items are generated and you can use all the features of CubeTree Social Docs: inline document preview, support for deep comments and the contents of the file are indexed for future discovery.
- Post a link to the SharePoint file into CubeTree. When CubeTree users click on the link, they will be redirected to log in to SharePoint and view the document. Feed items are still generated and users can still have conversations about the document. This enables companies that want to preserve the SharePoint controls and still support conversations and collaboration about the document in CubeTree.
SharePoint 2007 and 2010 are supported with the Connector, and it is available for CubeTree Premier customers. To find out how to get started using the SharePoint Connector, contact Customer Support.

Because membership is assigned, users cannot 'Unfollow' an auto group. As a user profiles change, Auto Group memberships will automatically reflect these changes. Users are also automatically notified of any group membership changes.
Site Admins can edit the membership rules at any time as the organizational needs changes using the new "Auto Groups" page accessed via the Admin link. Group Admins can also add members to the groups that don't have match profile data; for example, the admin could add the appropriate finance manager to the Marketing group.

Participation Controls
Previously, all members of CubeTree groups had the ability to post new content, edit existing content, comment, like, create polls, discussions and more. We heard from many customers that they wanted to be able to have more control over how members participate within certain types of groups, similar to some of the functionality they have in their intranet portals.
To help users focus the purpose of the group and accomplish what they've set out to do more effectively, we've added Participation Controls, which allow admins define how members interact with the group. When creating a group, admins can now choose from 3 options:

Group Reports
Group Reports provide metrics on activity at a group level allowing Group Admins to see the members in their groups who are most active, generating the most content, comments as well as show activity trending over time. Site Admins still are the only ones who have access to Company Reports, but now we have enabled similar reporting for Group Admins.
Being able to quantify this data allows you to monitor how members are using CubeTree to share information within a group. You can easily identify group champions or groups that are making the most use of the CubeTree features.
A new Reports link is available for Group Admins and is displayed in the left navigation of the Group. Select Reports and choose the report you would like to generate:
