2018 Golf Challenge for Autism

We are pleased to host the inaugural 2018 Golf Challenge for Autism at The Grove (Hertfordshire, UK) – home to one of the UK’s most prestigious golf courses – to raise funds for and awareness of diversity, specifically neurodiversity, which includes autism. SAP’s mission is to make the world run better, and, as part of this commitment, we embrace a workforce with neurodiversity.

We will be offering a memorable day of golf and networking for your team, with opportunities for partnership to showcase your brand while in support of Els for Autism (

The winning foursome will receive entry and participation in The Sportingclass Industry Invitational in New Orleans, United States. (November 2018).

Your day will include: Breakfast • Premium goody bag • 18 holes of golf with buggies • Hole prizes on the day • On-course activations • First-prize team trip to New Orleans • Post golf drinks • BBQ dinner with awards ceremony

Itinerary for the Day:
8:00 am Registration and breakfast
9:45 am Welcome and briefing
10:30 am Shotgun start – 18 holes of amazing golf
4:00 pm Post golf drinks in the Stables Courtyard
5:30 pm BBQ dinner and awards ceremony
7:30 pm Guest departure at leisure

Els for Autism
Els for Autism Foundation was established in 2009 by Liezl and Ernie Els. The Els’ son, Ben, is impacted by the disorder which affects 1 in 59 children. The world-class pro golfer and his wife have devoted their efforts to a game-changing, philanthropic project – The Els Center of Excellence.

Els for Autism is a game-changing resource, delivering and facilitating programs that are leading examples of what can be available to people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).  They offer innovative, evidenced-based programs for families and individuals across the life-span in six focus areas:  Education, Global Outreach, Research, Recreation, Therapy and Adult Services.  Els for Autism serves a hub for the global autism community, disseminating best practices as well as providing direct services to families from around the world.   In 2017, they served 6,076 individuals from 13 countries.
